P.D.O.Parma ham is one of Italy's best-known and most beloved gastronomic delicacies and has always been synonymous with craftsmanship and tradition.

ORIGIN

It originates in the hills of Parma and is the result of a meticulous production process, starting with the raw ingredients: only carefully selected Italian pork legs and sea salt. No preservatives, no additives.The hams are left to rest for 12 to 24 months in cellars with high windows, where the pure air of the hills and the experience of the artisan salumieri accompany the slow curing process.

FEATURE

The result is a Parma ham with an intense pink colour, crossed by thin veins of white fat that make it soft and enveloping on the palate, with a sweet and balanced flavour. Its aroma is delicate and fragrant, typical of natural ageing.Parma ham is highly digestible and genuine and can be eaten simply on bread, as a filling for our crescentine montanare or as an ingredient in more complex dishes.
