P.D.O. Parma Ham

It is a typical local product produced in the area of Parma, an extremely limited geographical area, and has been awarded the Controlled designation of Origin. All the stages of the process to transform pig’s hind legs into Parma Ham are carried out with great care, from the choice of the raw material, to the seasoning, cleaning and curing which is carried out in cellars with tall and narrow windows to ventilate the rooms.
It has a sweet, typical taste, with a more marked aftertaste; it has a delicate aroma and fragrance.
