Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese
This is the king of mature cheeses and is closely linked to the traditions of the town after which it is named, produced in the same way since 8 centuries. Parmigiano Reggiano, the pride of our selection, comes from the best cheese makers in the Apennines of Reggio Emilia. Gazzetti’s strong experience, first as a producer and later as a selector, stands for high quality suppliers whose produce fragrant and tasty Parmigiano Reggiano. This quality comes from a production based on a fat and nutritious milk, due to genuine grass-fed cows. Gazzetti takes very seriously picking the right wheel of cheese, that are selected and hand cut personally, one by one.
Each piece then is preserved under vacuum-seal to make you taste Parmigiano Reggiano as it was just cut.
We offer Parmigiano of different ages: Parmigiano aged 13 to 15 months which is smoother in taste and fresh to eat, the classic 22 months and the extra old type aged more than 30 months.
