Created from an idea by Salumificio Rossi in Langhirano, Culaccia® is a masterpiece of taste and simplicity, the result of the finest Emilian pork butchery tradition. Made from the finest part of the pork leg, Culaccia retains its natural rind and a layer of noble fat that protect it during slow curing in the cellar, preserving its softness and fragrance.

CHARACTERISTICS

Unlike culatello or prosciutto, Culaccia is neither boned nor stuffed: it is processed “naturally”, without additives or preservatives, using only Italian pork, salt and spices. The result is a soft and velvety cured meat with a delicate aroma and a sweet and harmonious flavour, with a tender texture and a perfect balance between lean and fatty parts.
